|etymtx=Grammatical information: adv.<br />Meaning: meaning uncertain, in <b class="b3">στῆ δ</b>' <b class="b3">εὐράξ</b> (Λ 251, Ο 541), perh. <b class="b2">on one side, near, at the side</b>; further Lyc. 920 <b class="b3">εὐρὰξ Ἀλαίου Παταρέως ἀνακτόρων</b> <b class="b2">near the temple of Ἀ. Π.</b>; as interj. Ar. Av. 1258 <b class="b3">εὐράξ</b>, <b class="b3">πατάξ</b>.<br />Origin: XX [etym. unknown]<br />Etymology: Uncertain.
