[[spernō]], Fraenkel s. <b class="b2">spìrti</b>, also in Bq. -- Because of the late and rare ocurrence of <b class="b3">σπαίρω</b> Güntert . 146 wants to see in it, perh. corectly, a cross of earlier and much commoner [[ἀσπαίρω]] (s. v.) with <b class="b3">σκαίρω</b>.
