(index) brilliantly connects (<b class="b3">ἐξ)αίφνης</b> (with <b class="b3">ἐξαπίνης</b>), and further <b class="b3">αἶψα</b>, <b class="b3">-ηρός</b>, assuming a substr. element, with <b class="b3">α</b>\/<b class="b3">αι</b>, <b class="b3">π</b>\/<b class="b3">φ</b>. He also connects <b class="b3">αἰπύς</b> etc., which is less evident.
