Besides the primary verb <b class="b2">skutù</b>, <b class="b2">skùsti</b> [[shave]], [[plane]], [[peel]] (cf. on [[ξύω]]); so <b class="b3">*σκύος</b>, <b class="b3">-άλη</b> prop. *'planed piece of wood'?
