From metathesized (cf Kor. [[ΔιδαίϜων]]) <b class="b3">*δαίϜω</b> originates Att. [[δᾳς]] ([[δαις]] < <b class="b3">*δαιϜ-ις</b>). The perfect [[δέδηα]] < <b class="b3">*δέ-δαϜ-α</b> resembles Skt. <b class="b2">du-dāv-a</b> (gramm.), to which present <b class="b2">du-nó-ti</b> [[burn]]. Further Skt. forms in Pok. 179f.
