If one distinguishes an <b class="b2">m-</b>suffix one could connect the group of [[πάλλω]] (since Fick KZ 19, 262; further s. WP. 2, 52f.). Also Arm. <b class="b2">al̃m-uk</b> [[confusion]], [[unrest]] (: <b class="b3">παλμ-ός</b>, <b class="b3">πελεμ-ίζω</b>) can be connected (Adjarian MSL 20, 160). -- Here may also belong [[πόλεμος]]; [[sub verbo|s.v.]] Furnée 151 (with n. 42) calls <b class="b3">πελεμ-</b> entschieden ungriechisch; the suffix <b class="b3">-εμ-</b> would be Pre-Greek.
