A centurion (/sɛnˈtjʊəriən/; Latin: [[centurio]]; Greek: [[κεντυρίων]], kentyríōn or [[ἑκατόνταρχος]], hekatóntarkhos) was a professional officer of the Roman army after the Marian reforms of 107 BC.
