|Definition=ή, όν, perhaps [[wavering]], [[flickering]], παρὰ ῥοδανὸν δονακῆα <span class="bibl">Il. 18.576</span>:—this is the reading of most codd., but ancient critics differed as to the form; Zenod. gave <b class="b3">διὰ ῥαδαλόν</b> (which he derived from [[κραδαλόν]]); the reading of Aristoph. and Aristarch. is uncertain, perhaps <b class="b3">παρὰ ῥαδινόν</b>, v. Sch. ad loc.; cf. also [[ῥαδινός]] (Apollon. <span class="title">Lex.</span>, who reads [[ῥαδινόν]], absurdly interprets as <b class="b3">λεπτόν, οἱονεὶ ῥαδονόν, παρὰ τὸ ῥᾳδίως δονεῖδθαι</b>).
