   A double-folding, epith. of doors or gates, mostly in pl. with σανίδες, θύραι, πύλαι, Od.2.345, 17.268, Il.12.455; later δικλίδες alone, folding-doors, AP7.182 (Mel.), 5.144 (Asclep.), 255 (Paul. Sil.), etc.: rarely in sg., Theoc.14.42, AP5.241 (Eratosth.); δ. θύρη Arat.193:—written δίκλεις, ειδος, as if from κλείς, double-fastened, Hp.Art.7 (cf. Gal. ad loc.).
