Adv. -μως with clear utterance, Ael.NA4.42: Sup. -ώτατα ib.13.18; melodiously, ib.1.43; ᾖδον Aristaenet.2.19.    2 like εὔφημος, avoiding words of ill omen, and so, keeping silence, περὶ μὲν τούτων . . μοι . . εὔστομα κείσθω on these things . . let me keep a religious silence, Hdt. 2.171, cf.
