   A cavity of the body, i.e. thorax with abdomen, Hp.Art.46 (including ἡ ἄνω κ., = thorax, ἡ κάτω, = abdomen, acc. to Gal.15.896); τὰ κατὰ κ. νουσήματα diseases of the thoracic cavity, Hp.Aff.6.    2 belly, abdomen, Hdt.2.87, IG42(1).122.32 (Epid.), etc.: specified as ἡ κάτω κ.
