Know apart: P. and V. διαγιγνώσκειν, διειδέναι (Plat.). Separate: P. and V. διαιρεῖν, διαλαμβάνειν, διορίζειν, κρίνειν, Ar. and P. διακρίνειν; see separate. Perceive: P. and V. αἰσθάνεσθαι, ἐπαισθάνεσθαι, γιγνώσκειν, μανθάνειν; see perceive, see. Raise to honour: P. and V. τιμᾶν, προτιμᾶν, ἀξιοῦν; see honour.
