   A anything driven in: as Subst. mostly pl., ἐνήλατα (sc. ξύλα), τά,    I the four rails, which make the frame of a bedstead, ἐ. ξύλα S.Fr.315, cf. Ph.1.666 (Att. κραστήρια, acc. to Phryn.155): later in sg., ἐνήλατον, τό, bedstead, Sor.2.61; τὸ τῆς κλίνης ἐ.
