A cut down mutually, ἀλλήλους D.C.43.37 (nisi leg. ἀνακ-). II beat back, resist, 1 in a physical sense, c. acc., ὁκόταν νέφεα . . ἀντικόψῃ πνεῦμα ἐναντίον Hp.Aeër. 8: abs., ὅταν πνεῦμα ἀντικόπτῃ νότιον Arist.HA599a1, cf.
