I a reader, com. among the ancients an educated slave (cf. acroama): noster, Cic. Att. 1, 12, where Orell. would write it as Greek; Vatin. ap. Cic. Fam. 5, 9, 2; Nep. Att. 13, 14; Gell. 3, 19; 18, 5.
