   A φῑμά AP6.312 (Anyte):—any instrument for keeping the mouth closed:    I muzzle, for dogs, calves, etc., φιμὸν περιτιθέναι τινί Luc.Vit.Auct.22, cf. APl. c., LXX Si.20.29.    2 gag: hence, silencing by a spell, Tab.Defix.Aud.25.13 (Curium, iii A.
