A to be full of wrath or (more prob.) to be distraught, ἠλάστεον δὲ θεοί (as trisyll.) Il.15.21; μωξεν . . καὶ ἀλαστήσας ἔπος ηὔδα 12.163, cf. Call.Del.239, Musae.202, etc., cf. Gal.Lex. s.v. ἀλάστορες. (Only impf. and aor. part. in earlier Ep.; fut-ήσω Q.S.5.584.)
