C. 3, 105, 5; Liv. 37, 45; Juv. 3, 70.—Called also Trallis, Plin. 5, 29, 29, § 108.—Hence, Trallĭānus, a, um, adj., of or belonging to Tralles, Trallian: quasi vero Trallianus fuerit Demosthenes, i. e. a native of Tralles, Cic. Or. 70, 234; cf. id. Phil. 3, 6, 15.—In plur. subst.: Trallĭā-ni, ōrum, m., the inhabitants of Tralles, the Trallians, Cic. Fl. 22, 52 sq.
