Herde, grex (im allg., eig. u. übtr.). – armenta, ōrum,n. pl. (ein Hause größeres Vieh, bes. Ochsen, dann auch Pferde, Hirsche, große Meertiere). – multitudo. caterva (übtr., Hause übh., s. d.). – in Herden, gregatim: zu einer Herde vereinigen, congregare (übtr. auch Menschen).
