Quaff: P. and V. ἐκπίνειν (Dem.), V. σπᾶν, ἀνασπᾶν, Ar. and V. ῥοφεῖν, ἕλκειν, Ar. ἐκροφεῖν. Drain to the dregs (Met., endure to the end): V. ἐξαντλεῖν, διαντλεῖν, ἀντλεῖν. subs.
