Deliver: P. and V. ἐλευθεροῦν, λύειν, ἀφιέναι, ἀπαλλάσσειν, ἐκλύειν (or mid.), ἀπολύειν, ἐξαιρεῖσθαι, V. ἐξαπαλλάσσειν.
Save (by removing from the scene of danger): P. and V. ὑπεκτίθεσθαι, V. ὑπεκλαμβάνειν, ὑπεκσώζειν; see rescue.
