Deny by oath: P. and V. ἀπομνύναι, ἐξομνύναι (or mid.).
Swear an oath: P. and V. ὀμνύναι ὅρκον.
All the Samians who were of age swore the same oath together: P. συνώμοσαν Σαμίων πάντες τὸν αὐτὸν ὅρκον οἱ ἐν τῇ ἡλικίᾳ (Thuc. 8, 75).
Swear beforehand: P. and V. προομνύναι.
Swear by: P. and V. ὀμνύναι (acc.), ἐπομνύναι (acc.), V. ὁρκωματεῖν (acc.), Ar. and V. κατομνύναι (acc.).
