Without winking: use adv. P. ἀσκαρμαδυκτί (Xen.), or adj., Ar. ἀσκαρμάδυκτος (Eq. 292).

Wink at, shut one's eyes to, met.: Ar. and P. περιορᾶν (acc.); see allow.
