ἡ, (ἐνώμοτος) prop.
A band of sworn soldiers: hence, division of the Spartan army, Hdt.1.65, Th.5.68, X.HG6.4.12, Lac.11.4, etc. II later, = λόχος, cj. in Ascl.Tact.2.2; also, a quarter of a λόχος, Arr.Tact.6.2.
