A the joy of men', φέρον δ' εὐήνορα οἶνον 4.622; φέρον δ' εὐήνορα χαλκόν 13.19. II later, of communities, etc., well-manned, abounding in brave men, Pi.O.1.24, 6.80, etc.; λαός Id.N.10.36; ἵππος, of the Trojan horse, Tryph.468.
