   A look at or upon, Hes.Fr.93.2, Hdt.1.129, A.Pr.553 (lyr.), S.OT1372, etc.; π. φάος ἀλίω Sapph.69:—Med. προσῐδέσθαι, first in Pi.P.1.26, A. Pers.48 (anap.), 694 (lyr.) (found as v.l. in Od.13.155, Hes.Sc. 386).    II Pass. προσείδομαι, to be like, A.Ch.178.
