   A with teeth opposing, rather than notching into, one another, opp. καρχαρόδους (q.v.), τὰ συνόδοντα animals with such teeth, Arist.HA595a9.    II Subst. συνόδοντες, οἱ (sg. ἡ, Numen. ap. Ath.7.322b), a kind of sea-bream, prob.
