There are no traces of <b class="b3">Ϝ-</b>, cf. Sommer Lautst. 98. Schwyzer 461 A. 5 points to the expression <b class="b3">εἰς ὕδωρ γράφειν</b> suggesting the word belongs to <b class="b3">ἅλς</b>.
