(Ved.) <b class="b2">sám-r̥tā</b> <b class="b2">at the meeting, in battle</b> (Schwyzer 433 with Hirt, Hofmann Et. Wb. s. <b class="b3">ὁμαρτῆ</b>) is wrong, as the latter is the locative of <b class="b2">sám-r̥ti-</b> <b class="b2">coming together, battle</b>. -- Cf. [[ὅμηρος]]. The form with <b class="b3">ἁμ(α</b>)- must go back on *sm̥h2-. The (the more recent?) form with <b class="b3">ὁμ-</b> will go back on <b class="b3">ὁμός</b>, <b class="b3">ὁμοῦ</b>.
