An. 4, 1, 17. – Zuweilen auch von einzelnen Personen od. Dingen, μέγα [[πρᾶγμα]], ein großes Ding, Stück, sowohl von Menschen (Dem. 35, 15) als Thieren (vgl. Alexis bei Ath. III, 123 e, [[πρᾶγμα]] δ' ἐστί μοι μέγα φρέατος); πονηρὸν. τὸ [[πρᾶγμα]], das ist ein schlimmes Ding; daher ἦν μέγιστον [[πρῆγμα]] Δημοκήδης παρὰ βασιλέϊ, er war ein großes Ding beim Könige, galt viel bei ihm, Her. 3, 132; ἄμαχον [[πρᾶγμα]], von einem Weibe, Xen. Cyr. 6, 1, 36. – Ganz allgemein, der <b class="b2">Zustand</b>, vgl. [[πράσσω]], τὸ σὸν τί ἐστι [[πρᾶγμα]]; was ist deine Sache, wie steht es mit dir? Plat. Apol. 20 c; φαῦλον γὰρ ἂν εἴη τὸ ἐμὸν [[πρᾶγμα]], es stände ja sonst schlecht mit mir, Hipp. mai. 286 e; ἐν τοιούτοις πράγμασιν ὄντες, in solcher Lage, Xen.
