A take in a return-cargo, Str.5.3.5, Peripl.M.Rubr. 32; but the Med. is more usual in same sense, D.35.25 and 37: so metaph., Hp.Ep.17; τίμημα ἀ. τοῦ ἔργου Procop.Arc.20. II in Med. also, import in exchange for exports, X.Vect.3.2; take as returnfreight, ἀργύριον Arist.Mir.844a18. 2 Pass., χρήματα . . ἀντιφορτισθέντα goods received in exchange for the cargo, Syngr. ap. D.35.11, cf.ib.24.
