A against the will, constrained, of acts or their consequences, καὶ τῷ οὔ κως ἀεκ. ἐγίνετο τὸ ποιεύμενον Hdt.2.162; τλήσομαι . . ἀεκούσια πολλὰ βίαια Thgn.1343; ἐς ἀ. ἀνάγκας πίπτειν Th.3.82; πόνοι Democr. l.c.; often in Att. of involuntary offences, ἀ. φόνος Antipho 3.2.6; πράκτορες τῶν ἀκουσίων ib., cf.
