A of three stories or floors, Hdt.1.180 (v.l. -ορ-), LXX Ge.6.16; οἰκίαι Aristid. Or.27(16).20; οἰκήματα Ph.2.143; πύργοι J.AJ13.8.2. II τὸ τ., = τρίστεγον, third story, LXX 3 Ki.6.13(8), in pl. τρῐ-ώρῠγος, ον, (ὄργυια) of three fathoms, restored in X.Cyr.6.1.52 by L. Dind. from the best codd. (which have τριώρων or τριώρυον), others having τριόργυ (ι) ον: cf. διώρυγος, πεντώρυγος.
