[Seite 1072] = ταρφός, Hom. nur in der Il. u. nur im fem. plur., ταρφειαὶ νιφάδες, κόρυθες, 12, 158. 19, 357. 359, was, mit leichter Aenderung ταρφεῖαι geschrieben, in Übereinstimmung mit ταρφέες gebracht u. von ταρφύς abgeleitet werden könnte; vgl. θαμειός u. θαμέες.
