ἀλλὰ σὺ μὲν νῦν στῆθι καὶ ἄμπνυε → but you, stop now and catch your breath | but do thou now stand, and get thy breath
v. trans.
P. and V. μηκύνειν, τείνειν, ἐκτείνειν, P. ἀποτείνειν. Be protracted: P. and V. χρονίζεσθαι. Protracted: use adj., P. and V. χρόνιος.
