VII, 798 a, in oder bei den Gesetzen auferzogen werden; vgl. Tim. 19 d; ἐν ἔθεσι Tim. Locr. 103 b; Sp.; bei Hom. wird Il. 19, 326 jetzt getrennt geschrieben Σκύρῳ μοι ἐνὶ τρέφεται υἱός; aber Ap. Rh. 3, 528 steht ἐνιτρέφεται. – Das med., φυτὰ δ' ἐνθρέψασθαι ἀρίστη Hes. O. 779, wie Plut. Pelop. 14 τὸν ἔρωτα ταῖς παλαί. στραις ἐνεθρέψαντο.
