A fill in turn or against, τὰς ναῦς man them against the enemy, Th.7.69, etc.:—Med., ἀ. φιλοτησίαν πρός τινα fill one's cup in his honour, pledge him, Aristid.2.115J. II fill up by new members, ἀ. τάξεις ἐκ πολιτῶν X.Cyr.2.2.26; replenish after exhaustion, Thphr. CP1.13.3.
