Χρόνον or βίον), spend time in a place, αὐτόθι D.33.5; τῇ Χώρᾳ Plb.3.88.1, etc.; ἐν τόπῳ D.S. 5.44; ἀνθρωπίσκοις among them, Luc.Alex.33.    2 waste time by staying in a place, linger there, Th.5.12, 7.81, etc.    3 continue in the practice of a thing, τοῖς ἠθάσι . . τοῖς ἀρχαίοις Ar.Ec.585, cf.
