A jar, κάδδιχος καλεῖται τὸ ἀγγεῖον εἰς ὃ τὰς ἀπομαγδαλίας ἐμβάλλουσι Plu.Lyc.12: hence, voting-urn, whence κεκαδδίχθαι, to be rejected on a vote, ibid.; also, a measure,= ἡμίεκτον, Hsch., cf. Tab.Heracl.1.52, IG5(1).1447.10 (Messene, iii/ii B.C.):— Lacon. καδίκορ, Hsch. s.v. ἐνδεκαδίκορ.
