   A nightly, i.e.    1 of persons, doing a thing by night, ν. καταλέξεται Hes.Op.523 (v.l.), cf.Th.991, A.Ag. 588, etc. ; ἀνὴρ δ' ἐκτέταται ν. as in nightly sleep, S.Ph.857 (lyr.).    2 belonging to night, ν. φθέγματα Id.Ant.1147 (lyr.) ; ἐνοπαί, γόοι, E.IT 1277, El.141 (both lyr.) : in late Prose, ν. θεός Dam.Pr.273.    3 of places, dark as night, gloomy, νυχίαν πλάκα A.Pers.953 (lyr.) ; δι' ἅλα ν.
