A μιμνόντεσσι Il.2.296; later Ep. impf. μίμνασκον Orph.L.108:— stay, stand fast, in battle, Il.13.713, 15.727, etc. 2 tarry, μετόπισθε μιμνέτω, ὥς κε κτλ. 6.69, etc. 3 of things, remain, σόα μ.
