TG2, J.AJ14.7.1: metaph., λίτρᾰν ἐτῶν ζήσας having lived a pound of years, i.e. 72 (in late times a pound of gold was coined into 72 pieces), AP10.97 (Pall.).    III measure of capacity, = 1 Italic κοτύλη, Gal.6.287. [ῑ as in Lat. libra; written λείτρα in CIG2040.7 (Bosp.).] (Both λίτρα and Lat. libra prob. from early Italic *līprā.)
