A ἠνίᾰσα AP11.254 (Lucill.)): Ion. impf. ἀνῑάζεσκον A.R.3.1138:—Ep. Verb, grieve, distress, like ἀνιάω, c. acc. pers., ὅς κεν τοῦτον ἀνιάζῃ Od.19.323; ἀλλ' ὅτε δή ῥ' ἀνίαζον . . Ἀχαιούς Il.23.721 (v.l. Ἀχαιοί). II intr., to be grieved or distressed, θυμῷ ἀνιάζων grieving at heart, Od.22.87; ἀλλ' ὅτε δή ῥ' ἀνίαζε was grieving, growing weary, 4.460, cf.
