   A ἀκαλύφη Thphr.HP7.7.2 codd.), ἡ, stinging-nettle, Dsc.4.93, etc.: metaph., ἀπὸ τῆς ὀργῆς τὴν ἀ. ἀφελέσθαι Ar.V.884, cf. Anon. ap. Chrysipp.Stoic.3.178.    II sea-anemone, so called from its stinging properties, Eup.60, Pherecr.24, Ar.Lys.549 (cf. Sch.), Arist.HA531a31, 588b20, Plu.2.670d.

A. 4, 6; Athen. III, 90 b, wo Philippd. com. ὄστρει', ἀκαλήφας καὶ λεπάδας παρέθηκέ μοι vrbdt. Hieher läßt sich auch Ar. Lys. 549, wegen des dabeistehenden τήθεα, ziehen.
