   A oath or affidavit made by the prosecutor, Pl.Ap.19b, Lys.23.13; also, by the defendant, Is.3.6, cf. Harp. s. v., Poll.8.55.

[Seite 265] (ἀντόμνυμι), ἡ, eigtl. der Gegeneid, d. i. der Eid des Klägers, daß er keine Verleumdungen vorbringe, und des Verklagten, daß er unschuldig sei, Harpocr. ἐπειδᾷ ἀντώμνυον οἱ διώκοντες καὶ οἱ φεύγοντες, οἱ μὲν ἀληθῆ κατηγορήσειν, οἱ δὲ ἀληθῆ ἀπολογήσεσθαι; etwas anders Schol.
