Rh. 1, 425, wo der Schol. auch die Erkl. giebt τὸ ὕδωρ, ὃ ἐνίβαλον εἰς τὸ οὖς τοῦ ἱερείου, ἐπὶ τὸ ἐπινεύειν τὸ ἱερεῖον, damit das Opferthier den Kopf niederneige. – Uebh. was man ausschüttet, auswirft, missilia, allerhand Dinge, die man einem bewunderten Manne zum Zeichen der Verehrung zuwirft, Plut.
