   A bowels, guts, Il.4.526, h.Merc.123, Antim.45; made into strings for lyre, etc., AP11.352.12 (Agath.): in Com., also χολλάδες, Pherecr.246, Men.23.    II in sg., gut-cavity, common to the ὑποχόνδριον and λαγών, Arist.HA 493a21. (Cf. χόλ-ιξ, Slav. želad[ucaron]k[ucaron] 'stomach'; not cogn. with χολή as implied by Aret.SD2.9.)
