II π. ἁμέρα a day of swift feet, i.e. on which swift runners contended, Pi.O.13.38; ποδαρκέων δρόμων τέμενος the sacred field of swift courses, i.e. the Pythian race-course, Id.P.5.33(s.v.l.).
