[Seite 658] ίδος, ἡ, = δορκάς, Opp. C. 1, 440; Callim. ep. 33, 2; παίγνια δορκαλίδων heißen die Speere, die nicht mehr geschwungen werden, Agath. 92 (V, 578). Von einem Mädchen, Agath. 25 (V, 292). Nach Suid. sind δορκαλίδες ein Marterinstrument, eine Peitsche aus Rehleder.
