Die wohlriechende afrikanische Art, die den ὀπὸς Κυρηναϊκός gab, ist ferula tingitana od. thapsia gummitera nach Sprengel; die persische, von der der ὀπὸς Μηδικός kommt, ist unsere asa foetida.
